Description
The reference uniformity and distortion (RUD) target consists of a grid of photo-stable NIR luminescent wells arranged on a square non-fluorescent background material. The RUD provides the ability to characterize an imaging system’s fluorescence uniformity and local geometric distortion. When paired with a QUEL Quantitative Reference Kit, a full imaging system characterization can be performed, addressing all system performance criteria outlined in AAPM TG311 and recent draft FDA guidance.
This target is the first to be released with companion software to ease the burden on image analysis. The open-source QUEL-QAL library specifically designed to analysis fluorescence imaged of QUEL Imaging reference targets or similar phantoms.
