OptiBloxTM are the future of tissue-equivalent optical phantoms! These solid phantoms are available in a large range of shapes and optical properties. A proprietary formulation of scattering and absorbing agents are used to mimic tissue absorption and reduced scattering at specific wavelengths in the VIR, NIR or SWIR regions of the spectrum. Standard formulations are available based on literature-reported optical properties of specific tissue types. Custom formulations are also available and material formulations for OptiBloxTM can optionally be characterized between 400 nm and 1800 nm.
